Violet Toothed Polypore

I found these Violet Toothed Polypore or (Trichaptum biforme) while mushroom hunting a few days ago. They are common here in south Alabama.

I just found the violet-toothed polypore today (07/10/2022) for the first time. I noticed the resemblance to turkey tail, but knew it wasn’t turkey tail. The specimens that I found were mossy green. I live in North Alabama.
