Shaggy Stalked Bolete-Boletellus betula

I found this shaggy stalked bolete while mushroom hunting in south Alabama.  The Boletellus betula is fairly easy to identify even for the novice mushroom hunter. The long shaggy stalk and small cap is a dead give away.

These are beautiful boletes, the caps are a yellow color when young, then mature into a red orange color.
