Another one of my favorite exotic plant species, carnivorous plants are really interesting plants. There are many types or species of these carnivores, ranging somewhere around 600. The most recognized species is the Venus Flytrap.

Carnivorous Plants

These unique plants get their nutrients by trapping and then consuming their prey. Most commonly, they consume insects. But, some of the larger species may consume rodents and other small mammals.
